I'm excited to celebrate the launch of Sphere 5-8 with my co-editor Justin Andrews in conversation at CAM on Sunday 2 June at 1:30pm, as part of the regional programme of the NGV Melbourne Art Book Fair. Sphere collects and presents material from the practices of those who employ modes of Abstraction in some way. It is a graphic project, constituted only by the original submissions of its contributors.
Chaired by CAM Director, Naomi Cass, this conversation will consider the notion of the archive and explore the way in which Sphere is an evolving project, mapping an artistic community with an aim include, expand, collect and re-present in perpetuity.
