I'm really honoured to have been invited to contribute an article to the winter 2024 special textiles issue of Art Monthly Australasia. My article 'Making Connections' recounts my experiences while on residence at Lottozero in Prato, Italy, and the body of work that I developed there and later presented in Australia. I share my thoughts about Lottozero as a fertile model for textile education and reinvigoration within the broader industry, and my hope of looking to such models to develop similar platforms in Australia.
